This is the One You've Been Waiting For!

Take a second and think about the last time you were able to really reflect on the alignment and balance between your professional and personal lives. Finally, this is the time you can truly focus on and connect your life's purpose to your work and your roles. You may be asking yourself, do I deserve this? Oprah would say, "Just being born makes you worthy enough to be here." And I'll be here waiting to support your journey to your truth and your calling.

Finally, time you can unapologetically and truly focus on yourself. This is your time to REflect, REnew, REinvent, REimagine and RELAX!  Come REdiscover yourself, heal your soul, and increase your impact. As a woman, you are valuable to me; come REdiscover your value and worth for yourself. It's time to step out on faith and meet a group of wicked smart women who can possibly change the trajectory of your life. You will walk alone no more! And, your wholeSOUL sistahs will be there. "We got you!"

Ok. I know this part can be tricky because I'm pretty sure you have had different group experiences, both positive and negative. But we don't learn about ourselves from ourselves; it takes interacting with others. I know you've done group work before, but never like this! Learning to let go of the past, learning to accept support, learning what you REALLY need in both your personal and professional lives so you can have realistic expectations of others and more importantly being realistic about your expectations of yourself.

In the words of Oprah and the spirit of purpose, "Excellence is the best deterrent to racism and sexism.” It isn't until you come to a spiritual understanding of who you are - not  necessarily a religious feeling, but deep down, the spirit within - that you can begin to take control.

Whatever your calling or purpose is, it's your job to feel it. The gifts and talents you have are not solely for you. Someone else is waiting on you to walk in your purpose so they can more fully walk in theirs. There is a calling for all of us and everyone has something to offer the world. So the real work is to become aware, and awaken to answer the call.

Lessons often come dressed up as detours or roadblocks, but not this year! Give yourself a once in a lifetime opportunity to pensively think and seek guidance from your inner soul. Ask yourself, if this was the last day of your life, would you be ok with your impact? You don't have to wait until your last days. Take the first step towards the rest of your purpose driven life.

Part of the challenge in healthy living is that you see the effects gradually and it is not just about the physical things you can see or feel. That can be frustrating when you’re a woman on the move. But whether you see it immediately or not, your body responds the moment you begin making healthier choices. These changes can also reduce your risk of obesity, heart disease, cancer and diabetes.

Physical relaxation of the body and relief from pain consequently leach away the anxiety a body holds. Massage therapy is by far the most popular way to provide relaxation to muscles, lessen body aches, reduce blood pressure and unblock energy flow.

These benefits are good for your cardiovascular system and your mood. The rush of endorphins during physical activity can immediately boost your mood and reduce stress levels. And like diet, exercise has immediate effects on blood sugar, minimizing energy peaks and valleys throughout the day.

More than one-half of women believe depression is a “normal part of aging, and more than one-half of women cited denial as a barrier to treatment while 41% of women surveyed cited embarrassment or shame as barriers to treatment.

Social factors may also lead to higher rates of clinical depression among women, including stress from work (racism, sexism), family responsibilities, the roles and expectations of women and increased rates of sexual abuse and poverty

Surprisingly, professional women tend to experience the most dangerous kind of depression - High-Functioning Depression. Depression is a treatable medical illness that can occur in any woman, at any time, and for various reasons regardless of age, race or income. Your wholeSOUL experience will give you an opportunity and permission to think and talk about it. Even if you cannot attend THE EXPERIENCE this year, please reach out to your local mental health practitioners just to talk. I promise, it makes a difference.
