Yes, let me explain. Once you arrive at Miraval for the retreat, you will start with a $700 credit. There will be over 100 offerings while you are there. Most classes are at no cost; therefore you can use your credit towards spa treatments and personalized programming while you are there. Please be advised the credits cannot be transferred between guests or future visits. To sweeten the deal, all food and non-alcoholic beverages are included as well.
No! Miraval is a no tipping facility. This means no matter how great the service is (and it will be great), there is no expectation that you will leave a tip. Believe me, you have paid for and will receive outstanding service. A friendly "thank you" or note on guest comment card is the best tip you can give and the only one allowed. However, you do need to bring a credit card to put on file for any additional fees you incur while there (extra spa services, alcoholic beverages, personal private session with world renown experts in the field of health and well).
You are in for a treat. You will want to hire your own personal chef after this experience. Using fresh grown veggies and herbs from their on-site garden and their use of local farms for protein, you are sure to experience quality ingredients and service.
Miraval was chosen so you can have access to over 100 activities. These offerings are the core supports to assist you in accomplishing your goals while at the retreat. The wholeSOUL curriculum is approximately 3 hours per day. A more detailed curriculum will be shared once you are registered.
Your package includes all non-alcoholic beverages. There is a charge for wine and other spirits. You can bring your own to have in your private room.
Every participant is responsible for their own airfare to Tucson, AZ. Then you are in our very capable hands. A PINK and Miraval representative will meet you at the airport with signage.
Miraval is a non-tipping resort property. They believe a “no tipping” policy is essential to a mindful guest experience. Once you arrive at Miraval, a friendly “thank you” or note on a guest comment card is the best tip you can give and the only one they allow.
Arizona is known for its warm sunny days year round with a blanket of coolness in the desert morning and evenings. For maximum comfort we suggest layers of athletic or yoga wear during your day. Evening dining is resort casual and a light wrap or fleece for the cooler desert evening is suggested. All equestrian activities require long pants and closed toed shoes. Challenge activities require tennis shoes. Spa services such as Aqua Zen require a swimsuit and other services such as Thai massage require loose comfortable clothing. It is recommended you bring the following items: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, yoga wear, workout clothing, swimsuit, running and hiking shoes, camera and journal. Check current weather conditions prior to arrival to pack accordingly.
